Abstract

Developing effective web-based information systems is essential in today’s digital era. This study presents the frontend design and implementation of a research dashboard for the Directorate of Research and Community Service (PPM) at Telkom University, using Agile Scrum and React. The development was organized into four iterative sprints, allowing continuous refinement based on user feedback. Google Chrome Lighthouse was employed to evaluate performance, accessibility, SEO, and adherence to best practices. Results show consistently high Best Practices (up to 96) and SEO (around 83) scores, with Accessibility mostly between 87 and 95. However, Performance scores were lower, ranging from 35 to 44, primarily due to local asset usage and unused library components. This study demonstrates that combining Agile Scrum with React enhances development efficiency and adaptability, while highlighting the need for performance optimization. The dashboard’s novelty lies in its institutional focus, providing tailored insights for PPM and offering a replicable evaluation framework for academic web applications.
